About

I am an independent artist, originally from Montreal, Canada, now living in London, UK. I studied photography from 2007 to 2009 at one of Montreal’s few remaining educational institutions that offered darkroom techniques. Using both film and digital photography, I have continued to practice my art, for the sheer pleasure of creating collections of remarkable subjects.

I have a passion for exploring the perfect balance between aesthetics and technique to do honour to the architecture, landscapes and moments that catch my eye. I try to spot unseen angles to capture the essence of the different places I visit. And even though there is always the risk of not seeing the final image until I develop my films, my preferred medium is conventional film photography. Still, the risk can be part of the fun; I’ve had a few unexpected surprises over the years, including discovering a double-exposed self-portrait (below) that juxtaposed the Gaspé Peninsula with a Venetian cityscape!
I nevertheless appreciate the versatility digital photography offers.

Through Here & Then, my goal is to offer you a window onto new landscapes that can give a new tone to your living environment, creative space or place of relaxation and well-being.

These are, in all humility, collections I would like to share with you.
